Tarnerland Nursery School

If you would like your child to attend Tarnerland Nursery School, please complete the enquiry form below. We aim to respond to any enquiries within a week. If you would like a quicker response, or you would like to organise a tour of the nursery, please contact us directly.

We are in the process of phasing in fixed attendance patterns at Tarnerland Nursery School. This is to enable us to offer the new government funding to as many children as possible over 47.5 weeks of the year. This means that children will be eligible for 12 or 24 hours, all year round, instead of the 15 or 30 hours, term-time only. In our pre-school group from April 2024, and in ALL groups from September 2025, attendance options for 24 hour children will be limited to;

2.5 days

(2 x 10 hour days + 1 x 4 hour morning or afternoon)

Either beginning of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday morning) or end of the week (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, Friday).

3 days

(3 x 10 hour days)

Either beginning of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) or end of the week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).

4 days

(4 x 10 hour days)

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Wednesdays NOT available on this pattern).

5 days

(5 x 10 hours days)

Children only eligible for 12 hours will be able to attend on Monday / Tuesday mornings OR Thursday / Friday mornings, but will have the option to 'top-up' to one of the attendance patterns above.
